It gets even sweeter when they become adults, and they are no longer pushing away. You just have to stay in the fight and keep getting back into the ring with those teens because one day they stop looking at you as the enemy and it is amazing!

We’re always learning this about people young and old–our own kids, kids in our classroom, adults, family. Persisting. I like it. Good words to heed the week before spring break working with middle schoolers.
